Todd began his career in entertainment with PBS while a graduate student in television at the University of Tennessee. Before starting his own small effects shop in Denver, Todd worked for cable pioneer Ted Turner at TBS in Atlanta, 20th Century-Fox Television in Los Angeles, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Television Animation. Among his feature credits are Die Hard II, Contact; Batman and Robin; My Favorite Martian; Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves; The Enemy God, Cannon Fodder, Decay and Ink.
We first got to know Conor when he was working Vampire Diaries in Atlanta, but he's been a working pro MU and SFX artist in film and television for at least a couple decades. Conor's been a presenter at GooCon in the past and we're excited to have him back.
SHANE MORTON is the mad scientist behind the Silver Scream FX LAB. In over three decades as a professional in the film industry and horror business, he has worked with favorites such as Henry Zebrowski, Panos Cosmatos, Dan Fogler, and Rob Zombie. He has designed and built horror attractions all over the country, the Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse being his biggest and best, and has designed and fabricated interactive art installations from New York City to Hollywood. Larry graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a bachelor’s degree in theater and creative writing. The first half of his professional life was spent pursuing and working as an actor, writer and director. He has been in the past a proud member of Actor’s Equity and the Screen Actors Guild and still spends time writing for film and television.
It's this experience with the industry and its ups and downs that enables Larry to help artists navigate the often treacherous roads to financial security. We're glad to have him aboard and look forward to hearing his words of financial wisdom!

Ben is an Emmy Award-winning makeup artist (The Pacific, 2010) specializing in special effects makeup, prop making, prosthetics and has cultivated a successful and tenured career in the entertainment industry. Ben's film projects number in the dozens and include Star Trek, Hunger Games, Avatar, Anchorman, Hangover 3, CSI, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & the Wardrobe, Kill Bill: Vol 1&2, Hulk, RIPD, Grey’s Anatomy, and many many more.
Syretta Bell is likely to be found running the makeup department for anything being shot at the giant movie studio in Atlanta formerly known as Fort McPherson. She is a wealth of knowledge and experience and has graciously shared both with others in her industry as well as those who've come to know her in other circles such as GooCon.

Roy Wooley grew up in Alabama where his father was a coal miner and a preacher who hoped his son would choose a similarly stable profession. But after Roy snuck in to see "An American Werewolf in London," he fell in love with character creation and special effects makeup.
Many of us got to know Roy from watching SYFY's "Faceoff", but in the years since then he's been busy working a host of feature films as a SFX makeup artist.
Kim Jones is an Emmy nominated makeup artist and is the IATSE Local 798 Steward for Atlanta, GA, acting as the liaison between the makeup and film community of Georgia and the Union. Kimberly’s work ranges from feature film projects to print, advertising and celebrity work.
Craig is coming down from NYC to attend the show and give us a demo on Makeup Aging Effects.
Craig has over 120 credits now, including Saturday Night Live, The Deuce, Power, and the Whitney Houston biography. He is a three-time Emmy award nominee and has been a journeyman makeup artist for over 20 years.
Wesley is traveling in from North Carolina to be part of GooCon. He's an amazing sculptor, the most current work being that of Harriet Tubman (It's traveling around the country at present). Many of you in attendance will know him as the award winning SFX artist and some of you have worked with him in the past. We're delighted to have Wesley Wofford join us at his very first GooCon!
